Usually it looks exactly the same: most MOVs hold H.264 video and AAC sound, which an MP4 holds too, so they are copied, not encoded again. Only iPhone HEVC video is encoded to H.264, at high quality, so it plays on Windows, Android and every site.
iPhones record in the High Efficiency format by default, which saves space but doesn’t play everywhere. Pick “Keep HEVC” to just change the MOV to an MP4 in seconds, or leave “Make it H.264” for a file anyone can play.
