Check your video’s safe zones on every app

Drop in a vertical video and see what TikTok, Reels and Shorts cover, side by side. It all happens in your browser, so nothing gets uploaded

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop in your video

A vertical MP4, MOV or WebM, or a PNG of a frame. It opens right away, because it isn’t uploaded anywhere

  2. 2

    See it on every app

Six phones show your video under each app’s buttons and captions. The first one shows the part that’s clear on all of them, so one cut works everywhere

  3. 3

Fix it, or take the template

Open any app to see its numbers in pixels. Download its template for your editor, or save the frame with the zones marked to send to whoever edits

Questions people ask

No. Your browser opens it right on your computer and draws the zones over it, so nothing is sent anywhere. It works for unreleased videos and client work too.
The part of a vertical video that no app covers with its own buttons, captions or username. Text, faces and logos outside it can end up hidden behind the like button or the caption.
Keep everything that matters out of the shaded parts of “Safe on all”: it shades every app’s top bar, button column and caption at once, so its green line shows the space that’s clear on all of them. In short: below the top 220 px, above the bottom 420 px on the left, and clear of the right 180 px from about 850 px down.
The shaded parts follow where each app puts its interface on an ordinary post: the tabs, the column of buttons and the caption, so the safe zone flows around them rather than being one box. Next to each app you also get its own numbers for ads (TikTok’s safe zone file, Meta’s guide for Reels and Stories, Google’s for Shorts, Snapchat’s ad specs), which ask for more room because ads add a label and a button.
Download the PNG, put it on the top track over your video in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve, and keep your text inside the dashed line. Hide or delete it before you export.
Yes. Drop in a PNG or JPG instead of a video: a cover, a screenshot of a frame, or a design from Figma or Canva.
The checker shows it the way the apps would, with bars or cropped, and you can switch between the two. To make it fill the screen, turn it vertical first with the free vertical video converter.
Yes. No account, no watermark on the templates, and no limit on how many videos you check.
